Report a Non-Emergency Incident Online
The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office offers an online reporting system that allows residents to report certain non-emergency incidents quickly and conveniently from any computer or mobile device.
If this is an emergency or a crime in progress, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Before You Begin
Online reporting is available only if all of the following are true:
- Not an emergency — this is not a life-threatening situation or a crime in progress.
- Within our jurisdiction — the incident occurred within the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction.
- No known suspects — you do not know who committed the crime.
If you answered YES to all of the above, you may file your report online.
If you answered NO to any question, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (442) 265-2021.

What Happens After You Submit?
After submitting your report, you will:
- Receive confirmation that your report has been submitted
- Receive a case number
- Be able to print or save a copy of your report
All reports are reviewed. If additional investigation is needed, Sheriff’s Office personnel may contact you.
Important Information
- All reports are reviewed.
- Filing an online report does not guarantee an in-person response.
- Filing a false report is a crime.
- Disable pop-up blockers before beginning the reporting process.
